Terms of Use

The agreement between you and BraveHeartMind when you use this site.

Short version: be honest, be kind, don’t give medical advice, and don’t repost what other people share here. The rest is detail.

1. Accepting these terms

By using braveheartmind.com you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please don’t use the site.

2. This is not medical care

This point governs everything else. BraveHeartMind is a peer-support community. Nothing here is professional medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis or treatment, and no member — including any qualified professional who joins — provides care through this site. Never delay seeking professional help because of something you read here. In a crisis, contact emergency services.

3. Who may use the site

You must be at least 16 years old to register. You may hold one account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure, and you are responsible for everything posted from your account.

4. Community rules

When posting a story or a forum message, you agree to:

  • Write from your own experience rather than telling others what they should do;
  • Never give medical advice, recommend or discourage medication, or attempt to diagnose another member;
  • Respect other members’ privacy — do not repost, screenshot or share their stories outside this site;
  • Avoid detailed descriptions of methods of self-harm or suicide;
  • Refrain from harassment, abuse, hate speech, or content targeting anyone’s identity;
  • Refrain from advertising, spam, or promoting treatments or practitioners for commercial gain;
  • Post content that is yours to post, and not impersonate anyone else.

Pseudonyms are welcome. Presenting yourself as a qualified professional when you are not is not.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you write. By submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, display and store it on this site and to quote short extracts when promoting the community. This licence ends when you delete your content, except for copies already made by others or held in backups.

You confirm that what you post is your own experience, and that you have not included private details about other people — particularly children — without their consent where they could be identified.

6. Moderation

We may edit, hide or remove any content, and suspend or close any account, where we consider it necessary to keep members safe. Where practical we will explain why. We do not review everything before it appears.

7. Content from other members

Stories and posts reflect their authors’ views, not ours. We do not verify the accuracy of any personal account and do not endorse any approach, therapy, product or practitioner mentioned by a member.

8. Membership and payment

Access is currently free. If paid tiers are introduced, their price and terms will be shown clearly before you pay, no existing free feature will be moved behind payment, and no charge will be taken without your explicit agreement. Paid tiers would grant access to community content only — never to professional care.

9. Availability

We provide the site on an “as is” basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Links and embedded content

The site links to external services, including our YouTube channel. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of this site or from reliance on content published here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaches these terms. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your content.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant updates we will notify registered members.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Serbia, without affecting any mandatory protections available where you live.
